Anyone know what's happened to Anna?
She has been ill, but was in remission.
I was first made aware of her here.

If this link works it is the Google cache of an article by Anna dated 16/11/13.

The site itself appears to be down.
I feared the worst when I read your question. I remember her saying the site wouldn't be kept up if she were to die. But 4 days seems a bit quick so maybe it's just a tech problem.
|
She had significant surgery about a month ago.
The last cached post (above) and her Twitter account have both been inactive for 5 days.
|
She had written, in her usual style, an account of her recent surgery. A reference to the Lloyds building's external plumbing hinted at its nature.
It looked as though she was expecting to return for further restorative work later.
I'll keep an eye open as there will be people at my leaving do next Friday who knew her when she was working in the UK.
|
Her Facebook account is unavailable also.
I fear.
|
Surely if she had croaked, there would be an obit or piece in the press somewhere?
|
You'd think, unless it was just. Obits are not normally that quick, are they?
Or maybe she hasn't died but is very unwell.
Be good to know.

Yeah, mater of hours, most of them are pre written, just need bringing up to date.

Not unknown for them to be written by somebody who pre-deceased the subject. All the living need do is fill in the blanks - dates etc and anything that needs a tweak.
|
Finger crossed she is OK.

That's why sometimes they get released prematurely. It must give immense satisfaction to write to a newspaper pointing out that one isn't dead. Almost a sense of immortality I would think.
Like others I first discovered Anna here - Armel, I think. Let's hope.

Not me. But I thought she had an interesting take on the noncing panic.
|
Sorry to admit that I've not heard of this lady before. Seems inspirational.
Just as well there's Google!

OK CP, but her blog was brought to my attention by someone here. GB perhaps, or Stu...
|
Its all a bit off really..
Anna Raccoon is actually Susanne Nundy although she frequently writes using her maiden name of Susanne Cameron-Blackie.
And there's stuff like this around...

Clearly there is a whole 'nother world out there with even conspiracy theorists having conspiracy theories about other conspiracy theorists.
