Flight delay and cancellation compensation - bathtub tom
I've just been paid £210 per passenger compensation for a flight from Luton to the Isle of Man that was cancelled. We were bussed to Birmingham for a flight that was subsequently further delayed for a couple of hours.

It was rumoured the original flight was cancelled on economic grounds. I've been trying to calculate the cost of this flight against possible compensation claims. I guess not many passengers would submit a claim - mine took three months to process.

I can find the airport charges, but not the aircraft operating costs (Dash 400).

The flight should have originated from the IOM, but that was cancelled. I've no idea how many passengers that affected, but there were 42 of us heading for the IOM.

Anyone any idea?
