Actually Ted the cameras are probably there because there's some sort of religious hooley going on and the church is packed out for once.

If they wanted to show that religious belief is dead in this country they could find lots of churches with hardly anyone in them. Indeed they do just that sometimes (the media I mean).

Having moved in those circles, it's not unusual for most denominations to link up for to record a service. Don't see why it attracts cynicism really, perfectly normal behaviour I would have thought.
