Just curious because this Sunday, myself and a chum, have a long rail journey to Plymouth from oop North. 6 days backpacking the SW Coast Path in an easterly direction. In a pair of tarptents. Having good quality wet weather gear is one thing. Having to use it every day is another.
As it pours down outside I am seriously beginning to consider options. Such as cancelling the holiday and returning to work.

Rain?
Another sunny day here in Norfolk. Only rain I have seen for a month was on Friday night when it rained for abut an hour. They are forecasting a hot week with temperatures expected to reach almost 30C on Thursday. Allotment is like the dust bowl.

You mind Dog - those Welsh nuts won't fit in a toaster...

I'm feeling a bit sheepish already R.P.

We were fortunate with the weather...pouring rain on arrival in Plymouth, then glorious walking weather for 6 days all the way to Dawlish.
Fabulous sea views, great campsites and few people away from the expected honey spots.
Salcombe. Now there's a place. Stepford Wives territory. Recession. What recession?
