To be fair, he backed Mark Hughes to well past his sell by date (but why he was employed in the first place is beyond me, useless manager with a record of failure and sackings)

He did fairly well for us, and left of his own volition after a season. Most of us were fairly put out at the time, but with hindsight are now pretty happy he thought himself too good for us. What a mistake-a to make-a.
