Oh dear. The glass in the oven door has become detached. Probably as a heavy casserole was placed on the glass in the door.
Having pulled the door to pieces, the glass had previously been attached to the door frame with a bead of mastic-type glue. It's still soft and flexible.
So what could this be, that will withstand high temperatures as found in an oven?
Thanks for ideas!

It should be a RTV Silicone (Room Temperature Vulcanizing silicone)

Hotspot Heatbond Stove Rope glue should also do the job.
It worked on both my multi fuel Morso and oven doors.
