Really hope something comes of this, or the other ongoing efforts.

Friends of the family recently had their very young son diagnosed. I know that there are worse things, that at least it is something that can be fairly well controlled, and that people are amazingly adaptable, but it is still a daunting prospect for them and obviously an ongoing worry regarding the possible long term effects.
