Their Turbogold screws are fantastic and on special offer at the mo - 1600 screws of different length for £27.99. How can you beat that?

I remember when Screwfix were called the "Woodscrew Supply Company".

You could buy any size of traditional woodscrew by the gross at very low prices.
Then they became Screwfix, and gradually reduced the range of lengths and widths available, and now they hardly do them at all.

I don't want gold posi-thingy twin thread self-abusing plated things for fixing chipboard - I want real woodscrews for real wood.
