A rather short teacher at Mrs RR's school was a Dalek driver back in William Hartnell days. And I had a mate who went to school with The Milky Bar Kid.

You must have been at a posh school then. Ours was like tracing paper..and nothing was going to attach itself to that.
Tracing paper was never that thick surely. The only way IZAL could be used was to roll it and try to soften it otherwise it was non-absorbent and like sandpaper. Ouch....................nice eh!

If you scrunched it up it ended up like the paper equivalent of a brillo pad.
Our LA is re-roofing some council houses locally. They don't look like the need doing, and they have included 2 they re-roofed less than 2 years ago after the roof was burnt out in a fire.... they've also used bright red tiles that stand out like a sore thumb.
One other is replacing all the street lamps - the old ones look fine.
You have to wonder how they work out their priorities....?

Spend it to prove you need it or the budget gets slashed next year.
Daleks are part of the wider Travelling Community and we should welcome and applaud the immense contribution they could make to extending the diversity of our society. We have therefore commissioned a study and appointed a Liaison Officer to better understand how this council can meet their needs.
We fully appreciate that many hard-working families are struggling to balance their budgets due to the savage cuts imposed by the coalition government so these extra costs will be met by employing extra staff in our Parking Enforcement Division.
