Not sure if the mods would prefer this in the Olympics thread, but I thought it would get a bit lost there.
Usually I manage a few Proms, but am seriously wondering whether it's worthwhile if public transport is going to be a nightmare during the Olympics.
My route would be: First Capital Connect to St Pancras, Piccadilly Line to South Ken, to arrive by 19:00 or earlier, return after 22:00.

Piece of cake, not getting on/off or near any of the hotspots.
( he says putting on his GamesMaker uniform and leaving for the Opening Ceremony rehearsal )

FP. From your profile, I assume you've a bus pass?
From what I remember, you can get a number ten from outside St Pancras to south Kensington - free!
I now use buses as a preferred method of transport around London.

Tom - yes, I do. But I really, really hate buses with venom.
I can just about tolerate a 15 min. ride from near my home to the centre of St Albans occasionally, but it makes me fume every time.
But thanks for your thought all the same.

Drag to the required date to see the hotspots.

Enjoy yourself, Z. My three shifts so far have been exceedingly quiet.
