I have just cleared the weeds from a small flower bed next to a fence - its about a foot wide and 15 feet long.

What flowers would be best to buy at this time of the year that would plant and flower very quickly?

Daughter is having a birthday party in a couple of weeks and would like them to be flowered and colourful by then.

Thoughts??

To flower in a couple of weeks, you can rule out seeds and seedlings! - you need fairly well established plants. Garden centres may have some late bedding plants left, these may be the best option!
