Going back perhaps a year there was some debate about Digital radios with some of you declaring what models you had etc. I have tried searching for the thread to no avail. One of you, poss Zero had one with rechargeable batteries and also a mains lead too. I would like something of a reasonable quality, tough if poss, pre selects and with the power attributes mentioned above.
All assistance gratefully received.

...How's about this one bwana...
I have one of these.
Good little set, but doesn't produce a lot of volume.
I have large capacity rechargeables in it, but they still don't last long.
DAB, in general, is power hungry.

It doesn't seem to have a sleep or alarm function.
I have one of these which I use when travelling.

I know Martin is sorted but worth mentioning the Revo Pico Zero put me onto in that old thread is still performing well. Its small footprint, weighty chunky feel, ability to go on a shelf in a run of books and phono outlets to act as a hi-fi source are all plus points.
Current version is still available in the Revo Ebay outlet store for a good price..

A little tip for Martin.
The set will charge rechargeable batteries but only if a little slider switch inside the battery compartment is set correctly.
This is not obvious, even from the manual.

It arrived today. What a lovely little piece of kit. Thank to Dog et al for the recco on this. Big thanks to KK Electronics on Amazon for such a swift delivery.
