Just popping in to say hello! A lot has happened over the last 5 years, but I’ve been back in the UK a couple of years now. Location south coast again, fleet now consisting of a 2023 BMW i5, a 2008 MB SLK and a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T. Yes, I still keep buying unnecessary old Audis :)

Welcome! Good to see another "old face". I hope you will post from time to time and add to the activity here. Things are a bit more lively these days with the influx of ex-HJ members.

Welcome back Peter. Some of us were a bit concerned that you'd suddenly disappeared.

Apologies…happy to let you know my thoughts on the E cabriolet though if still of any use! Definitely one of my favourite cars :)
Time goes quickly…late 2022 I set off on a bit of an African / SE Asian adventure, starting in Capetown and then meandered through SA, Kenya, Mozambique and Zanzibar before hopping over to Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. I got back spring 2023, spent much of that year moving house and faffing around with cars. In 2024 I then spent much of the first half of the year in India, again touring around and generally ‘finding myself’ in what I believe is the modern parlance. 2025 has been a bit of a return to normality, though I have spent a couple of months back in Japan and, for the first time ever, been on a cruise. It was an 11 night affair from Tokyo down the coast to Sasebo, and then over to S Korea. S Korea interesting, as was the coastal bit of Japan. I won’t be going on a cruise ship for at least another 20 years though ;)

No problem Peter. I eventually went for a BMW 440i convertible though.
Some lovely countries on your travel list there. Good to see you back.
