I'm just joining here, and wanted to say hi.

Keen motorist since 1980. Had Fords BMWs Nissans Citroen Suzuki British Leyland etc owned TDs, petrol but went 100% EV in Sept21. We also own a Fiat 500e.
It's been pretty smooth transition. I home charge and have a time of use tarriff. So I get 2.5p per mile motoring as long as I avoid public chargers. Which I do 99.9% of the time. Long trips ..483 m long enough? On the way to York in planned meticulously and it was pretty smooth. Added two 30 min stops to the journey. Trip back was unplanned and yeah not so smooth. Turns out you get far higher consumption at minus temperatures.
Overall happy with EV and I'll be looking to buy a longer range one next year.
