Well I migrated over a few days ago.

Very disappointed about the 'other place'. It is a real shame that migration has been the only answer as I liked aspects of it. I cannot believe it has taken so long to deal with the faults and the longer it goes on the more likely they will never recover. If I were HJ I would be hopping up and down with rage and demanding damages for lost revenue.

The Volvo is still as dull as the day I bought it, but I collected five Scouts from an event this week which I could not have done in the Outback. The Satnav is still sluggish compared to the Outback but the live traffic info is excellent and so far my economy is about 25% better than the Subaru. So, I am coping but reckon it will be less than three years before I change.

I wonder there is a chance of a C4P meet?

(By the way, I'm having similar feelings about my new Audi..bought for the long term, but I doubt it's going to last)

I like that idea, we all know we'd get on well enough. Question is, where?? South Manchester springs to mind, so Rattle would fell safe driving there I guess ;-)

Haha, it's about an hour and a half for me as I'm the wrong side of the Peak district... If we organised a date and a venue far enough in advance for me to organise a childminder then I'd definitely make the journey! Maybe this deserves a thread of its own...?

Clearly we'd have to extend an invite to the C4p mods and Stephen too.

Will it be acceptable to arrive on a motorbike or will we have to stop and play on the Cat & Fiddle?
Maybe we could arrange to stop and change into driving gloves and craggies at Sandbach Services!
Or even Knutsford, they have a motorbike helmet storage facilty there:)

Goes two ways this. A few years back I flew into London Stansted and thought it would be handy to visit my friend. In Farnborough. On a Friday afternoon.
