Time has come to get some new rubber for the C5 and with it being returned in May I was looking for a cheaper option.
Normally buy something half decent, but local tyre place has recommended Roadstone tyres which are by Nexen. No idea what they will be like, but they were 70 quid a corner for 215 X 60 X 16.
Guy who owns the tyre place tells me he has them on his Merc and they are fine.
Should I be concerned? Anyone have any experience of these?

yes, the lancer came with a set of these on the front. Performed well in last winters snow, and are now on the back. Quiet, grippy enough, good ride, wear quite well.

Well, the "roadstones" are fitted and I made it 2 miles back home in slightly damp conditions with no adverse handling issues.
Suspect that I will notice no difference between them and the Michelin Primacys that were already fitted.
Will venture onto the M5 tomorrow :-)
