My experience would agree with that, i've been with them for many years.

However a post from a regular on an MB forum says he's taking legal action against them and so are several others he knows off...astounded, had to read it twice as i've only ever received fair and straight honest dealings from them, not cheap, but then good quality never is.

I did use NFU for my buildings and contents insurance for two years, till it went up by about 40%. When I queried it I was told it was due to the age of my property; I asked how a house built in the 18th century could be so much more liable two years later and they mumbled something about "new criteria", to which my reply was "new insurer".
