In Ottershaw, just off Junc 11 off the M25 - There are 2 Shell garages opposite each other, one is JUST 1p a litre cheaper than the other - Would you cross over to the cheaper garage even if meant potentially holding up traffic and crossing over the road ?
Personally I would if I didn't know of cheaper garages nearby that WHEN I am passing I can fill up at.

Not only would I, I actually have done exactly that at that garage. Its the principal more than anything, to think they can rip you for half a quid a tank just by being 30 yards apart makes me do it.

Well crossing the road for 60 liters is a saving of 60p over a year that could be £60 or a meal out for Mrs Z and Me.

I would do it on principle too. I avoid getting petrol in my local area because they are all 4-5p more expensive than most others in south Manchester Not paying 133.9p when ASDA two miles way has it for 128.7.

WHAT?

Holy excrement Sheikha. Must almost make it worth living in the northern wastes. Another reason to add to being able to harass any Panda on the offchance that it's yours, and sidling by to get a look at Ted's Javelin. Perhaps I'll move up there.

With those 2 garages, I would only ever use the one with the car showroom attached. The one on the other side has a reputation for credit card cloning.
I don't actually use either of them myself though.
