I remember the Rochdale Olympic too. Not a classy motor but not too hideous either.
Ford 100E is a perfectly OK engine from its day (the 1930s really, but it's a 50s improvement) and highly tweakable. The engine of this one is (quite comprehensively according to the blurb) tweaked. It won't be challenging to work on either, but may last quite well.
So that car could easily be - for the right person with the energy to tidy it up - a perfectly pleasant, good-handling, reasonably brisk and economical er, 'classic' fun car.
I wouldn't be surprised if those glassfibre sporting shells were a bit noisy and drummy though. You'd have to drive it to see if it was potentially bearable.
