It's in the eye of the beholder.

So it is a Lancia, based on a Fiat Panda, with a Chrysler badge built in Poland - you couldn't make it up.

Hideous front end, you'd have to get one of those chin covers Beetle owners buy to diguise their contraptions.

I had a Lancia one of those on hire recently. It was alright I suppose. Wouldn't buy one though.

Calm down dear, it's only a car.

Actually it looks like a baby Cruiser, with the chubby spud-faced shapelessness babies have compared to adults. It will look better when it grows up.

What was that Zero?

Loosen his collar. Call an ambulance.

Nice looking car when under a carcover.

I said much the same thing when I saw a 4 door mini this morning. The lines did not flow - especially where the rear door and the boot side window meet (the tops of the windows are at different levels) - it just looked terrible.

Ditto, the Countryman for me.

I quite like the look of the Fiat Lancia Chrysler Ypsilon,

I've just had another look, and I still like it :)

Autoexpress gave it a 2 out of 5, and they are usually quite generous in their ratings IMO.

Some nice quotes in their review:-

"Two-tone paint is a £600 option, but it fails to improve the looks"

"The interior is equally daring, with a central instrument pod and distinctive Castiglio seat trim. It all feels cheap compared to rivals, though, and is quite cramped, too. Our test car also creaked and rattled over bumps"

Dosent sound to good, although I think I read somewhere that its really all a ploy to get the average Co2 levels across the chrysler range down

I likes it because it's something a bit different from the usual Fiesta, Corsa, Polo, and the Pugs,

But when I sees it 'in the flesh' I may well change my tune of course,

I've always admired Italian cars, but I've never owned one, yet.

I laugh at the advert stating something along the lines of we all seek quality ..... and then a hideous looking Chrysler appears on the screen!

Saw one in Cardiff today - they have it on static display in the St Davids center.

Not quit as ugly as I thought, but still a bit of a 10 to 2 princess
