Is it possible to look at what records about me/my car is stored in motor insurance database which is shared across all insurers?

Surely I should at least be able to know what my information is stored there?

Just looked my Passat up... it was understandably not on there for a few days..... I know because I checked. It shows as a Jaguar X-Type now. I might call the lease company tomorrow.

Its not "your" information, its someone elses information about "you" You dont own it, they do.

But you can ask what is there, and you also have the right to challenge its accuracy under the FOI act.
