What would you like to see changed after this review?

i want to see much less of them, much much less.
Allowing councils to put them up without consultation is a disaster.,

Clean the existing signs and maintain the sight lines.
No problem with 20mph by schools but for 24/7 ?
Get rid of the unused green boxes at traffic lights.
Get someone out from behind their desk and sort out continuity of signage along routes.

If they're not used when you cross the junction what's the problem??

They are a waste of money, time, effort, paint , road space
At a traffic light contolled cross road I regularly use they encourage rapid right turns across the traffic flow when the lights change from red.
Never ever seen a cyclist in the green box.
We already have single, double and fat yellow stripes plus double red stripes, small red and white triangles, numbers, big triangles all painted on the road.

Those I see regularly are in C London and fill like cisterns while the lights are red!
There are others at home in Northampton that are less well used. Even They help improve our visibility and therefore safety. Even if little used they give a significant gain without obvious pain to other road users.

Looks as if 'Except Cycles' will recognised as an exception to No Entry along with except buses/taxis.
Not sure I'm in favour of 'wrong way' riding but at least we can avoid daft use of 'No Motor Vehicles' where such use is permitted.
