Company car safety kit. - Jetski
Is there any legal requirement to provide a safety kit in company cars ?i.e. first aid kit, hiviz vest, warning triangle. I'm thinking that I may have to leave written instruction in the vehicles not to attempt to change a flat but to call the A.A.
we already provide a "what to do in the event of an accident kit" forms with relevant boxes, contact numbers, what to say or not to say, disposable camera etc. Comments appreciated.

In the era of corporate manslaughter driving for work can be a minefield. Probably worth taking professional advice.

The ROSPA website provides some leads.

Not sure on the legal requirment of it, but my latest company car came with 2 first aid kits, 1 from BMW and 1 from the lease company along with High Vis Vest.
previous car had First Aid kit but no High Vis.
My Lease company don't like us doing lots of things ourself, changing bulbs even requre a dealer or autocentre visit.
I used to work at a company that insisted on a disposable camera in the glove box, i guess with all the phones now with cameras these are no longer as needed.

It's probably part of some generic risk assessment requirement. Makes sense.

IRC the thinking re a disposable camera was that it provides virtually tamperproof evidence and avoids the risk of " photoshop".
Not sure of the current situation with phone cameras so popular.

no legal requirement, but my last company car arrived with a bag containing 2 hi viz vests, warning triangle, spare bulb kit, a completely useless first aid kit, and a tyre care kit (pressure gauge and depth gauge)

This is the policy at our company, with lorries anyway; not sure if the reps and managers are similarly equipped.
