I remember seeing a BL ad with a Mini being raced around Amsterdam, taking-off as it went over bridges and doing handbrake turns.

I can't see BMW doing a remake of that for the current Mini!

That advertising campaign caused me to buy Queens Greatest Hits III on CD, to get hold of a version of that tune.

At the time Uncle Henry was desperate to sell hopeless Mk4 Escorts and obsolescent Sierras while waiting for the Mondeo to be finished.

Cog was a good advert. The Ford advert posted above was good I suppose - but the product they were selling to us at the time was poor.

Car was crap. Advert had some merit. I knew someone who got one those RS2000's as a company car (inherited it).
