It would have to be the DB5 for me.
Always fancied a Yank convertible.
No Mustangs in the list, but I will stick with Ford and go for the Mercury Monarch.

OK, Iffy, you arrange a meet and I'll be there in the delightful Mercury Sportsman ' woody '
I like the electric brougham as well...wonder what voltage it uses.

Er... just the one Iffy, and only 15,000 smackeroos too...
Mk11 3.8 Jag, always loved these.
I'd have the Mustang ( there was one Iffy:) )
It reminds me of the grown up version of my 1300 Capri.

Hard top, no good for me.

Some people just can't be pleased:)

Crikey!
Its like being a kid in a candy store, I want them all!!!!

The honda's cheap. Bargain.
Derek Minter's Norton, just to park in the front room and look at for the rest of my life.
But,
£209k for a straight AC Ace with a Ford Zephyr engine. Sheeeeesh.
And why has the price of a 4.25 litre Alvis drophead rocketed in the last year or so, when superior Bentleys' prices haven't?
I think there are a lot of people at auctions these days trying to park their money in something they know absolutely nothing about.
That lovely square jawed E-Type in blue......lovely.
If we all had one of these we'd have to grow moustaches and start using Brylcreem.
I might have a problem with that.

Headscarf and big sunglasses for you Pat.
Jackie-O for a theme.
:-)
Well we have Thelma then, who is up to play Louise?
I'll be the Bonny if you'll be the Clyde Z?

I have a photo somewhere of my parents in the late 40s / early 50s standing beside my Dad's car which was an imported 4.0 litre Buick. Running boards, freestanding headlamps, the works. Him in a fedora and a long overcoat and my Mother in similarly period clothes. We always used to refer to it as the Bonnie and Clyde picture.

Straight Eight?
My dad won one in a raffle when he was in the RAF based with the yanks in Heidelberg.
You know I just don't know Kevin. My Dad was car daft and had some really unusual things. I'll dig out the photo one day and try to work out what it was. He was nearly as old as I am now when I was born and started driving in the mid 1920s. His father had cars and motor bikes prior to that and there are photos of them somewhere. My father was an excellent driver, never had an accident in his life despite never having passed a test and only having had the most rudimentary lessons from his own father. He had a real feel for cars and could hurl them down a road but never jerky, always smooth. He hated 4 cylinder engines until he was persuaded to have a Volvo 144. Never went back to sixes after that. I think it sort of coincided with the first fuel price hikes in the early 70s.

More like Wilson, Keppel and Betty, you three !

I would have the Packard 12 Coupe Roadster, and change my name by deed poll to J.J. Gittes.
Not only are you a twirly moustachioed cad, you are a literary cur, sir.

Pronounced "Sir" to you...
:-)
The Ferret Scout Mk 2 Military Vehicle could prove usefull in winter where I live.
Any of the last five - not that plenty higher up wouldn't more than qualify - but the Packard is the cheapest isn't it? Very nice. Don't expect it to have oomph tough. Just torque... ah, lovely.
The Dusenburg. It's just so damned elegant.
The Ferret might be tempting for old times' sake (worked on them as a REME apprentice) but if I was paying that kind of dosh I'd want a bit more than 50 mph flat out and ten to the gallon.
have to be the Delarge for me! then me an a few mates could earn some pennies mimicking the "Ant-Hill Mob" at conventions.
Well, if no-one else wants it I'll take the C-Type.
Yes I'd go for the C-type - but as you've nabbed it I'll have the XK120. An amazingly modern feeling drive for a 60 year old car.
Spitfire.
I'd taxi it to work every day.
It would have to be the Ferrari F40 LM. The noise, the looks, the massive prangs resulting from my attempts to drive it enthusiastically..... ;-)
That Duesenberg looks lovely.
The mustang looks nice, but fifteen grand is a lot of money for an ex-rental job...
The 1973 911 Carrera. Always had a sopt spot for souped up Beetles.
Either the Mk ii or one of the E types. Not fussy really.
