I am researching a Fly/drive to Austria next year. BA have cheap flights but car hire adds £300 a week for a Fiesta. Argus have a 207 for £160 for a week which looks keen and even includes CDW XS, I usually get my own.
However SatNav at £52 a week and an extra driver at £29 look stupid! If the car is being driven by a legal and licenced driver for 1000 miles why does having 2 people doing 500 each make it more risky? I always take my own satnav anyway

One of the places here were charging extra for winter tyres. They are mandatory anyway, and the hire fleets change all their tyres in one hit. I wondered what would happen if you opted out of winter tyres.
