PCP agreement - out of country? - Fursty Ferret
A clause in the PCP agreement for my car forbids me from taking the car out of the country for more than 30 days in any calendar year.

There is the strong possibility that I might be moving to Madrid at some point over the next 6 months: I'm assuming that this is an unenforceable clause? What could the finance company actually do if they discovered (somehow!) that the car has been in Spain all year?

Worst case: demand the car back, which coincidentally is also the best case, since I doubt they could have the car back and insist that I keep paying the finance!

Assume insurance and other British-car-in-Spain-for-long-period banalities sorted.

Its a breach of contract. There will in the contract be the penalties or your liability.

They might be able to, you did at the end of the day sign up to pay them a lump of money.
