The current discussion about car mounted cameras reminded me of an incident on a quick piece of dual-carriageway. I'd taken one of the cars for a service (possibly the MK5 GTi we had - anyway it was a couple of years ago) - I was making progress on the way home (as one does) and was in lane two overtaking a car - as I drove past I must have glanced in my mirror in time to see a camera flash from the windscreen of the car I was passing....wanabee cop maybe ?

Probably paparazzi PU.
Happens to me every time I go out.

You sure it was a camera flash and not the sun glinting off an immaculately polished and Rain-X'd windscreen ?

No...it is rather clean these days though, with some very tasty wheels....;-)

Until the next service :-)
Got some new wheels or have the originals just been washed ? Still can't beat a decent set of five spokes IMHO. Easy to clean but classic.

Well I had a deal.......some natty new model MSport 5 spokes, wearing some new rubber....see I needed four new tyres and they had these wheels/tyres which happened to fit. Instant man-maths.

Long live man-maths. Keeps the economy going !

You'll need a brush !
My 5 spokes are a bit simpler:

They're just for the winter when the crud's on the ground...

>>The 18" version of these wheels.
Hope you told your insurers. ;>)

I will but not much has changed it was on 18" BMW alloys anyway.

Don't be too hard on him Cheddar. He's quite old now you know. He's off on holiday now, I'm sure he'll be better when he gets back. Keeps making random comments about Kirsty Wark too and imagining stalkers. All very odd. Bit of sunshine'll do him good hopefully...
