If you had to have one of these, which would you pick?

Mine would be the cool looking Mercedes in picture 3.

I'm drawn to the uglyPug although the 'Life jet' could be a riot!
|
I would take ANY of those, except that stupid yellow reliant thing.
Why because they still couldn't get used to the basic concept that to build a three wheel drive vehicle, its a good idea to have as many wheel steering as possible, preferably two at the front.
Everyone knew it, except reliant, reliant drivers, and invacar drivers.

Ill take the 2011 Morgan please, in matt brg. Mmm.

The stupid yellow thing sold in volume. Most of the others are much lower volumes.. and ridiculously costly..
Only a fool would pay over £20k for a three wheeled piece of junk even when it has an MB badge..
The last Robins made had leather and walnut you know...or perhaps not.

Well I suppose you had to stiffen up the fibreglass somehow.

I fancied a Bond 875: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bond_1968.jpg
A bit of a flyer and remarkably stable.

I've told you a million times, don't exaggerate ...

Compared to what I actually owned, it was: www.microcarmuseum.com/tour/scootacar1.html

I owned a T-60 Berkeley at one time-FWD.so it steered and drove well-just so long as you avoided running the single rear wheel over manhole covers-it was four speeds and reverse-not three as shown in the Microcar website.Friend of mine had a four wheeler and was going to fit a Mini 850 engine/g-box into it but never did.

I have an inexplicable soft spot for these.
The museum is on my to-do list, its not too far from home.

My first ' car '...same colour and model....

You could remove the roof with a screwdriver but it was too big to take with you.
Hit a bumpy tramline in Blackpool and the bonnet flew over our heads. Put it back with bungys.
Electric starter but had the kickstart under the bonnet.
Villiers 250cc twin two stroke, I think.

Ah.
My Dad's first car was a Bond with no reverse gear. He used to parallel park by going nose first, then getting out and picking the back of the car up and dropping it in the parking space straight.
Then he went all up market and had a series of Reliant Regals and Supervans, before Mum forced him to get a car licence because us children were getting bigger and the family labrador/boxer cross was a bit of a hazard bouncing around inside a 3 wheeler. Particularly on runs from Berkshire to Northumberland.
The test was passed, and we got a Mk2 Cortina estate.
