For me, it would have to be:

Ford 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible-One Family Owned-53000 miles-£25000-30000

I don't even know what one looks like, but the name is as evocative as Mustang, it's a convertible, and it's a Ford.

What more could I want?

Ah yes, about thirty grand in spare readies to buy it.

Blimey, a Mk 9 Jaguar with a 6 litre V12 like mine. That must be a dickens of a motor. Don't think I'd like to put a price on it though.
Nothing much else appeals. Some of the E-types look cheap by today's (not my) standards. But of course no E-type is ever cheap.

The Porsche's look cheap -- a 930 turbo should be >£20k i think? Guide price 15-20 here though.

Is it an auction house trait -- put the expected price low to help draw the punters in?

It would have to be the 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible-Shelby GT350 Tribute-4sp manual-£20000-24000 for me.

A pal and I hired a Mustang in 1965; what a joy. I've got some 'photos of it somewhere.

What's with the Herald 12/50 - 'virtually' one owner?
