Does anyone know if this type of information on wholesale and retail fuel prices is published for the UK ?

Thanks, I was looking for the comparison between wholesale, tax, and retail prices on a daily basis that some other countries seem to have. It would help to see when wholesale prices drop but retail don't.

I don't think it provides any help at all, there is nothing you can do to change it, and it may just make you even more dismayed!
Unless of course you have a way of getting tax free fuel, in which case - Spill the beans!

So the oil companies and retailers can't handle a bit of transparency in their pricing policy in the UK? (as in competition)

No point, there isn't any competition, its all down to local cartels.
