Heh heh... it isn't a very good poem although there are worse.

I can see though that the guy had perfectly good reasons for exceeding the posted limit on a fast bit of road and was unlucky enough to be clocked doing it.

I can certainly believe that he probably wasn't doing anything dangerous or more extreme than things most of us have done quite often. But it isn't safety that's being enforced, it's a civil regulation, confused by rabbits with 'the law', that can be enforced while generating public revenue at the same time. Two birds with one stone.
