I'm not sure there's any bar. Were the signs properly placed and the correct size, colour etc?

In practice though, unless they were obvious 'John Bull' jobs I suspect the SCP will let people off.

I don't know.

We had a problem here a few years ago on a major road,inprovements to the road where the speed was reduced overnight from 40mph to 30mph.

The 30 mph sign was very difficult to see and most of us where fined for speeding .

A mobile camara was set up and collecting the money began.:)
