I've decided its time to sell my Yamaha Fazer FZS600, which I've owned from new. Its done a GENUINE 600 miles from new, and comes with new tyres, tax (to end Sep), MOT (to 25 Sep) and is ready for the summer.

That was what my wife said! But I didn't know what to set the reserve to anyway!

Not surprised, very difficult thing to price accurately.

I see the current bid is £1,926.

Seems fair bordering on decent to me, what do you think?

Hard to tell really - I hope its worth a little bit more but if that's what it sells for then that's the market price.

I was expecting it to float along at sub £1000 until the last few hours, then go to a decent price in the last hour or so.

I'm pleased its up to decent money already as my wife would otherwise have been nagging at me to pull the auction and sell it to the local dealer instead - something I would have refused to do, and which would have caused some friction at home.

I've replaced the bike with a nice little MX-5 which has gone down well - especially when we took a drive out to a country pub for lunch on bank holiday Monday!

The buyer collect Sunday. Very nice chap, and he's absolutely delighted with the bike. As you say, a good result for both parties.

moved from cars for sale section to motoring discussion as it would be a shame for the auto delete to get hold of it
