I suppose that he did have Dad's permission to borrow the car in the first place?

I "got air" over a humpback bridge in my Mum's 1.6 Escort Ghia when I was 17. No visible damage done. Not quite the same league. :-)

My cousin did far better when he dove his Dad's Daihatsu Fourtrak through a neighbour's front room wall whilst giving the car a "surprise" wash.

If he did then the father is an irresponsible idiot. And if not, he's just lost a £275k car unless insurance in Germany covers the car regardless of who was driving it at the time.

Young men and cars don't mix. Young men, female passengers and powerful cars are even more troublesome.

Similar story round my way a while back, apart from the fact the passenger was a younger brother rather than girlie:-

"Police are investigating whether he was speeding when he lost control of the car on the 50mph road"

Looking at the picture, I reckon I know the answer to that one. Shall we tell them? :)
