Tesco is currently running a promotion on Simoniz car care and maintenance products at quite respectable prices.

Bought some today including Back to Black for plastic trim, bumpers and paintwork; screenwash and a Car Interior Disinfectant (odour neutraliser).

Intriguing point about the latter's clearly labelled spray bottle is that, despite the title, it's also detailed as being "Suitable for use on car interiors"(!)

Bit like the Raid insect spray that declares on the aerosol in large letters that it: "Kills Bugs Dead"...

A bit like the bags of nuts labelled "Contains Nuts"

Hold on, Penguin....
Maybe the Simoniz label should put on the bleedin obvious: "Spraying this stuff on the pedal rubbers is a really stupid thing to do, even IF it makes them look 'bitching'."

I know this from once when I had my car valeted....

I had one of those Quaker oats pot things for brekkie this morning (just add boiling water porridge thing, ace for camping like we were), it has written on it, caution contents may be hot.

It could only have hot stuff in it if you put it there, that's not stating the obvious, that's over stepping the mark with a label like that!

Still waiting for the interior cleaner to wear off on my new car. I know they have to give the car a valet, but why does the interior plastic have to look shiny? And every time I get out I have this cleaner residue all over my hands from the steering wheel and gear knob. Actually, I think I might go over it again with a wet cloth to get rid of some of it. It has a really naff fake citrus smell as well.

It's an odour neutraliser, similar to Oust etc...:-)

But the rear label does caution to test on an inconspicuous area first for "at least five minutes" and to turn the nozzle to "OFF" after use.....

yep but it only knocks bluebottles down for five minutes ....then they get up and fly around again! - for a really efficient "kill" you got to swat em with the old newspaper whilst they are still spinning in circles on thier back on the windowsill!
