I have an early morning (4am) run to Gatwick tomorrow, but the M25 9-10 is closed.
Anyway know what route is the signed alternative? So i can avoid it. I have plenty of choices I am used to but need to avoid those that are signed.

p.s. I ALWAYS go via Dorking, A25 & A217 to LGW when it is important rather than risk the M25.

Yup the diversion is as I thought, I shall go another way to Leatherhead.

From Weybridge to Dorking (avoiding the diversion route traffic and Leatherhead) I would go down Seven Hills Road, over A3 into Cobham, right at Waitrose to Downside through to Effingham junction, turn L through to Effingham then L onto Guildford Road, down Young Street to bottom of Givons Grove, then you're on the A24 to Dorking. Or you could go through Cobham, stay on the Cobham Road all the way through to Fetcham/Leatherhead and then onto the A24.

I shall be doing a combo of those routes. As I live near to West Byfleet I know the area well.
