I followed a 60 plate Mondeo TDCi out of a services on the M6 today, twin pipes, sporty looking, well it was pretty rapid, 80+ in no time and not a puff of smoke, while the FocuST could have accelerated a fair bit quicker (short shifting not wanting to overtake) it was still working fairly hard to keep up.
I guess one of the new 200bhp 2.2 TDCis.

I often see one parked at the local leisure centre. Grey 59 plate Mondeo hatchback with slightly darker grey chequer graphics on the rear doors and bonnet, bearing the legend "CR 280" across the chequers. 18" wheels (or possibly 19"), two exhausts and a TDCi badge at the back. No idea what that lot means, but we are near a fairly major Ford main dealer that always has the newest models driving out and about from day 1 - currently seeing a lot of the suicide door C-max and new design Focus.

Yes, probably a TDCi 200. I wonder how the in-gear performance figures compare?
