Cars were coming through our nearest small town as we drove through it about 4.30 this afternoon, one after another without any long gaps.
'Rush hour,' I remarked to herself as we gazed at the leisurely but brisk low-stress scene, not a police siren or screaming drunk or adolescent to be heard.
