 Lorry overturned on M1 (M25 exit closed) - movilogo
A lorry overturned near J6A on M1 (M1-M25 junction) and spilled diesel.

Heard on radio that M1-M25 junctions on both sides closed to traffic.

As a consequence, traffic queue formed from M1 J11 (for southbound). But I also observed long queues northbound.

My usual 30 minute journey through M1 took me 90 minutes today!

Heard on the radio that the road surface has been badly damaged and needs to be resurfaced = road will not be re=opened until early tomorrow morning

Hopefully they're using the gantry signs further north to re-route channel bound traffic onto the A1/M11.

What other diversions might be viable??
