Apart from looking in the owners manual, how else can you find out what service is due when and what should be done at the relevant service?

That site can be quite hard to navigate, and I think some of the more useful stuff is only available to dealers.

Don't know about Ford but Volvo service sheets have the schedules for the various services printed on the back. That, for example, is how I learned that the cambelt change was due at 96,000 miles or ten years.
