The first time I watched it I didn't notice the tow rope.

You would have thought that those posts would have some kind of safety mechanism where if they sensed a heavy load they would stop.

FWD car with auto transmission. In the USA people do not use the 'emergency brake' unless on a hill. Therefore easy to remove a car as shown.

That clip is of the exit from British Airways Headquarters - Waterside just off the A4 near Heathrow.
I have been through there many times and there are big warning signs but I suspect they are for single vehicles.
I will check it out when I am there again in a couple of weeks time.

I once watched a car caught on the rising bollards in Cambridge city centre. Some fault with the machinery caused the bollards to rise whilst the car was passing over it. What a mess.
