Why are there so many ads. headed e.g.: Car for sale £xxx - and then, in the text, "Sorry price is £xxx0? What do these people expect to gain?

I can only guess that the advertising rate is less for cars below £1000 ?

Sorting by 'lowest price first' puts them nearer the top....

Drives me absolutely bat excrement insane! And its gone from being a few to almost the majority. Plus there is a lower rate for cars under Half an Archer so they are commiting fraud apart from everything else..

I sometimes ring the expensive rate phone number just to hurl abuse at them.

Autotrader needs to sort this out plus their website has been excremenet since the big revamp. 'Stock overflow at line 50' anyone?

I have complained about one where both price and mileage were understated..

It costs £9.99 for vehicles below £1000 and £27.99 for vehicles above £1000. This is the cost of advertising for 2 weeks web only.

Quite a huge jump really is advertising costs.
