Trip was to Malta btw, where the roads are bad and some of the drivers are worse. Most spectacular incident was following a cement mixing lorry from the Gozo ferry area - he was tanking it up hills and round bends. At a roundabout I noticed one of his wheels was out of line with the others (in rear pair under cab). About a mile later it flew off and bounced a long way into the undergrowth. Took him quite some time to realise that he'd lost some of his stability around corners, but eventually someone stopped him and told him. Sorry for thread drift so soon... :-)

The mixer mixes the cement into the sand, water and gravel. Many tools and machines - egg beater, potato peeler - are named after what they start with rather than what they produce.
