Millionth Range-Rover goes to Help for Heroes

The only flaw is they are driving it from the Midlands to London to hand it over!

I suppose it will have AA/RAC Cover

It made it there and was gratefully received by JC.

...I suppose it will have AA/RAC Cover...

Pal of mine's on his second Range Rover and has been pleased with both of them.

I've had experience of two old Land Rovers, one at the garage, one on the farm, both were dependable workhorses.

Both were also capable of pulling loads far above their specification.

I wonder if the OP has owned a Range Rover which was always breaking down?

Speaking from experience, Range Rovers and Land Rovers are as at least as reliable as any other vehicle.

It must be all the others that are rubbish.

Either that, or there is a lot of ill-informed garbage written about Land Rovers by people with no experience of them.

Surely not.

I think there is a lot of well documented problems regarding the electrics on the Disco over the last couple of years,The ADAC in Germany list the Disco as a vehicle that requires more than its fair share of warranty work.I owned a new disco in 2000 what a disaster perhaps they have improved perhaps not.The cost of a new Range Rover I would expect to have absolutely no problems .

Fair enough, as an ex-owner you are well qualified to comment.

My reading of the public bar wisdom is the earlier Discoverys and Freelanders had their share of problems.
