Of fin a minute to MoT my 1983 Honda 650 - woke up in a cold sweat this morning. Whereas a 200 mile trip yesterday on its descendant a 2005 VFR800 held no qualms - how will 27 year old tech deal with an 8 mile trip.
VFR has non-assisted ABS linked brakes and will stop safely on a sixpence - the 650 has a pair of discs up front and a drum at the rear - tyres are made by Avon and whilst holding their pressure they are of dubious parentage - The VFR Battleaxes can cross continents wet or dry and are pretty much state of the art.....
Absolutely glorious morning sun shines, a definite warmth in the air.
Wish me luck.
PS
No tax on this one either - but one or both machines will be taxed in a couple of hours depending on the outcome of the MoT

Good Luck. At least it's a relatively new machine.

Best of luck, PU. Hope you get the result you want.

Ah well - it broke down - recovered to the bike shop - electrical issues I think. At least I didn't fall off !

>> Ah well - it broke down
Are you sure it's a Jap bike and not British?
