 Not Listed - Polestar - carmalade
Following one of these yesterday, as it’s got no rear glass , looks like a van conversion. Can’t see the advantage of this idea .

The thinking behind it is that the structural beam the runs across the rear of the roof/top of the back window can restrict rear headroom.
So move it rearward, behind rear passengers’ heads. Which is where the rear window would be, and use a camera and monitor where the interior mirror lives.
Rear passengers also gain full use of the sunroof, as the glass roof finishes behind them.

Taken to a logical and somewhat bizarre conclusion all windows and glass could be replaced by cameras and screens.

Most windows remain firmly shut with climate control in use. Cars could be lighter and more economical if all glass replaced by steel or even simple acrylic panels.

Look closely at any modern, large lorry. No big, rearview mirrors, just tiny cameras.
