Avoid a cheap one.

I had a cheap nasty looking one come free with an R/C plane i bought a few years ago, had a wee 04 diseasal Corsa at the time.

Couldn't shut the engine off with the charger plugged in. Driving off with no keys in the ignition was a possibility at the end of the days flying (crashing) :-)
