2021 Ssangyong Korando and 2011 Kia Venga

Current Multicar policy with LV.

Decided to get quotes via comparison sites for multicar and separate.

Moneysupermarket cheapest separate.
Compare the.. £25 more.
LV separate £40 more

Multicar Admiral and Hastings Dearest of all.

But LV cheapest as multicar renewal with them direct.

Done deal

Thought you was selling it and giving up driving?

The sale didn't go through with any of the " interested parties "
Invisible (to us) faults found and offer reduced.
Politely declined.
SWMBO has decided she will drive it as any replacement for the venga will be expensive and not much smaller.Only one she likes is the Yaris Cross...

Pray tell ORB, what are these invisible faults? Real or imaginary?

Years ago we sold deceased f-i-l car through WBAC. Mainly as we were in a bit of a rush to get rid, we accepted an offer a fair amount below the quote. They said there were a number of body repairs which we couldn't see - he did try to demonstrate lumps of filler with a magnet - and we ended up concluding f-i-l should probably have hung his keys up much sooner!!

Still, as with my more recent experience with Motorway recounted elsewhere here, it was a really painless experience compared to some previous selling nightmares.

Damage to ns mirror. 24 scratches on top of the stuff I'd declared. Damaged alloys.... ( 1 minor scuff) But you know the score....
Scratches nothing a polish would not remove.

My body shop and mates laughed at the list of faults.....

Not being funny but if the scratches are so easily removed why not deal with them before offering it for sale?
Presumably you mentioned the damaged mirror and wheel initially?

That looks good value. Mrs F's 2019 Pug 2008 cost £264 with Churchill (max 6000miles p.a.), my 'historic' TR7 is a mere £98 with Performance Direct and the uberwagen A8 £376 with Swinton classic (3000 mpa).

I recently renewed the Yaris - £185. If it carries on reducing at the current rate, it'll be less than the VED next year!

I've heard a couple of tales about One Protect. In both cases, they've charged new customers extra, after the premium's been paid, with threats of cancellation if the extra charge isn't paid.
