 BMW MOT - Zero
Well, the BMW has just sailed through its 5th Mot, no advisories, 112k miles, 8 years old.

I did slap some new Wiper Blades on it, just in case. (damn they are good, Bosch Aerotwins 20 quid from ECP)

BMW MOT & History - Zero
And here is probably a good place for its history to date

BMW G31 540i x-drive purchased new in late 2017. now on 112k miles.

8 tyres (changed in pairs per axle)

1 set front pads, 2 sets rear pads, rear disks skimmed once.

7 services for a total cost £4750

( Includes a precautionary gearbox service at 80k miles )

Set of Vanos solenoids at 80k miles - (not a service item, but almost a given in Vanos world)

Needed a TCB battery (emergency beacon thing) at 7 years.

Rear self leveling suspension failed at 90k miles - car sat its bum down in disgrace. Fears of a new rear air suspension pump at £1-2k disipated when a broken wire to a level sensor was repaired.

Cracked alloy in some nasty pothole in Norfolk, 100 quid second hand.

Current state - engine has an ever so slight tick at idle, and the transfer box has an ever so slight occasional judder with a bootful of power on split mu surfaces.

Lifetime MPG 27.1 (includes 13k miles of towing)
